Has science done more harm than good? I think yes bcause think of all the consequences that results from science. eg, TV- people are becoming lazy and obese due to the fact that they always sit around, eat and do nothing else. What about cellphone, people can get artharitis in their thumb by texting all the time Also Nuclear bombs- 150000 people died instantly when the USA army dropped nuclear bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki |

I understand what you are saying, however, with regards to your examples of where Science has done more harm than good, some people may argue that television educates, mobile phones enable freedom to communicate and the dropping of atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki helped to end the war with Japan, therefore potentially saving many lives. | 04/12/2007

Science has contributed significantly to harming us but has yeilded new, effective and efficient treatments for various ailments including cancers, virus and infections. It has also lead to the vast amounts of free knowledge available on the internet as wellas making it infinitly easier to share and collaborate on various projects ranging from healthto energy research. | 23/08/2010
